Stephanie Furtun is a French-Turkish, first-generation American director and photographer from NYC. Her work, imbued with a poetic sensibility and a discerning eye, weaves together her love of cinema and photography, exploring the narratives within both fashion and the human experience. She currently lives and works in NYC & Istanbul.
Clients include Rowing Blazers, FISCH, Jill Stuart, Morgan Lane, IN THE MOOD FOR LOVE, Bee Goddess, Yaxa, and Sportive.
Her work has been featured in Vogue, Centre Magazine, LATINA, RUSSH, and Wonderland Magazine. Her films have won awards at festivals such as Rhode Island Flickers, Hollyshorts, and IndyShorts. Stephanie’s most recent film, SARDINIA (2024) (dir. Paul Kowalski), is an official selection of the prestigious 2025 Raindance Film Festival in London and earned a place on the longlist for the 2025 Academy Awards.
